The Board of Control for Cricket in India or the BCCI had to pick a new title sponsor for the 13th edition of the Indian Premier League after the Chinese smartphone manufacturer Vivo backed out from the title sponsorship for IPL 2020 owing to the growing anti-China sentiment in the country after the violence between Indian and Chinese soldiers in Ladakh.
