As the 13th edition of IPL comes near, the Jamaican Cricketer, Andre Russell is gearing up well for the tournament as he smashed a quick-fire half-century off just 38 deliveries in a knock which included five sixes in the Caribbean Premier League game which was played on Saturday.
KKR have instated Brendon McCullum as their head coach for IPL 2020 who holds the record for the 1st century in IPL which he scored in the very first match of the first ever IPL.
Starting September, IPL matches will be played at three venues, which are Abu Dabhi, Dubai and Sharjah. In total 60 games will be played in 53 days.
Interestingly, this will not be the first time UAE will host the Indian Premier League. Back in 2014, while general elections were held in India, UAE rose to the occasion and hosted the T20 tournament.
