37 year old Portuguese footballer Cristiano Ronaldo was seen at Real Madrid’s Valdebebas training ground for the first time since leaving the club back in 2018 for The Old Lady.

Ronaldo, who in the ongoing FIFA World Cup made history for Portugal by becoming the youngest and oldest goal scorer for the country at World Cups, is a free-agent as of now after his contract was terminated with The Red Devils mutually in November this year.

It is being said that Ronaldo was given a nod by Real Madrid’s president Florentino Perez to come to the sporting centre.

Fabrizio Romano an Italian journalist, confirmed the reports and tweeted saying, “Cristiano Ronaldo has trained at Real Madrid sporting center Valdebebas in the last hours — on a separated pitch 🚨⚪️ #Ronaldo. As revealed by @relevo/@hugocerezo, Cristiano’s just working there to keep his form thanks to great relationship with the club, waiting for new chapter.”

Ronaldo always shared a good relationship with Florentino Perez, Real Madrid’s President, and in 2019 Perez even said, “Cristiano Ronaldo has never created a problem in Madrid. He has been an example and I will remember him as the best player we have signed,” while speaking to Onda Cero.

Perez added, “He has always been exemplary, a professional like the cup of a pine tree. I’ve always had a perfect relationship with him and I’ve never had any personal or money problems.”

Ronaldo is no longer a part of the FIFA World Cup as Portugal was defeated by Morocco on the 10th of December with a score at the final whistle Portugal 0 – 1 Morocco. Ronaldo will not be playing in the FIFA World Cup again and this was his last chance to lift the golden trophy which only a handful of players have ever touched.

The Finals of the FIFA World Cup will be played on the 18th of December at 8:30 PM (IST) between Argentina and France.
